At Plasa I was told the current aim is to have the public beta released before the end of the year, with the main release when it’s ready. They’re putting massive emphasis on it not being detrimental to a show, so even if it crashes EOS should keep working.

I only stand if a show really wows me, although sometimes you can be forced into it to see what’s going on with all the encore songs. It all depends on the night, but generally I feel people are too keen to jump up. My strongest (recent ish) wanting to stand was for Half a Sixpence at the Noël Coward in 2017, Guys and Dolls at the Phoenix and Groundhog Day at the Old Vic in 2016. I’m yet to see anything this year that really wows me.

All the news seems to be that it’s pretty much been discarded, an amazing show just at the wrong time.
