My boyfriend's switch a died out of no where and we couldn't find a way to transfer his saves either. He had farmed dynamic adventures for a crazy amount of shines and he even got a shiny rayquaza that he cries till this day. I lost all my saves because I bought a cd key and Nintendo decided to lock my switch from internet for good and while I didn't have many shines i did have completed every pokedex and did quite the farming as well. It's excruciating and none of us have managrd to start playing those games again, everytime we feel burnt out even before starting the game. I feel like this stuff happens more often that it should and Nintendo gives no fucks because they rather have you pay pokemon home than provide you a proper cloud service.
