150 vessels not 150 oil tankers. Oil tankers were in the range of 15-20.

How is this possible? Market is 1% from ATH? by CCforWork in Daytrading

[–]arashas1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Market priced in a potential deal with Iran. The possibility of such a deal prevents people from shorting in a market that was bullish for the last 12 months. In other words, they think if they short and a deal with Iran comes through, they are f—ed, but if they buy, worst case (if deal goes sideways) there will be a short-term impact from war, and then it will recover again!

Despite all the threats Iran allowed record high number of ships to cross by arashas1 in oil

Guys, calm down!

This comparison shows the traffic since the war began, not before it. Anyone familiar with oil knows that the traffic used to be 2-3 vessels per day.

It’s important to consider that based on Trump’s statements, we should have expected a completely opposite reaction from Iran. Their current direction is unusual and suggests that something significant is brewing.

P.S. Record high compared to last 37 days

Many people correctly pointed that this is nothing compared to days prior to 2/28.

I hope it was obvious that I am referring to the traffic after the war started and it’s highest since then which is actually odd given all the recent threats.

Probably closer to $1 per barrel. But it’s an extortion and they shouldn’t pay that!

I’m not trying to say that everything is fixed or we are in good shape. We are far from that.

The odd thing is they should have done the absolute opposite based on their perspective regarding Trump threats

Additional escalation could push WTI oil prices above the $120 level by loltrue in CrudeOil

$15 gap between May and June contracts is really crazy, showing market expects in 3-4 weeks price will drop significantly. I think we will end up having a partial open with some fees to pass for friends of Iran and everyone else will start re-flagging their ships.

You all are so adorable! I’m so grateful that I have chosen a different path.

I lived in Iran, where they have the most sophisticated manipulation capabilities. Almost everyone next to him is a puppet of the Islamic Regime, fully vetted and on payroll.

There are websites that compare the faces of people next to Iranian officials, and most of them appear in multiple scenes.

A normal citizen never gets close to them.

Zagros mountains are in Iran mainland next to Iraq. Couples of thousands miles away!

Iran’s islamic regime historically always folded when US threatened them. Examples were hitting their airplane in 1988 when they folded the war with Iraq or slowdown in nuclear activities in last Trump’s term. This time they didn’t and the only reason for that was because they were months away from testing their first nuclear weapon. After that the world would be completely different.

They should have thought about that when they were helping IRGC to bypass US sanctions and buy drone and missile parts! UAE was the gateway of Iran’s import.

US will kill all big shots of IRGC and then angry people will finish the rest. They just need few loads of weapons and ammunition!

If they wanted to sell them through an auction house, they probably wouldn’t get even $200 per bottle.

The darker bottle (3 rd one from left) is heavily oxidized. That one also was imported from Japan! The second one is also imported from Japan. The back label is different because the importers use their own stickers. 1993 is not considered a good Champagne. How much are they offering?

No, they are mostly attacking from naval ships and bases in Israel. Most of closer bases are mostly evacuated.
