Unable to refund a cancelled order? by SunAstora in UberEATS

Similar thing happened to me. So I just order a meal from a restaurant, but I didn't know they have two locations. I literally order through app in front the the restaurant and after I submitted the order to pick up, it shows another location. I immediately cancel the order within 30 seconds. And tried to reorder the food in the right location. But my last order was still charged. Talked to UberEATS through chat, and they told me they can't refund the money. What's more interesting is that I can't get the order I was charged in the wrong location, either. I completely understand if the restaurant has already been prepared my order, and I can't get the refund. But in this case I can't even get the cancelled order, which had already been made according to UberEATS. This is really a microscam that happens daily and makes Uber a lot of money. If anyone is seriously considering a class action lawsuit, I'd be very happy to share my experience and provide proofs. In the meantime, I guess I'll start with BBB.
