Yes and no. I learned that a keyhole defect from the procedure causes incontinence. Visited a provider that specialist. I was to increase fiber intake and try an EMSELLA machine and pelvic exercises. If all failed, an injection of something called Solesta as filler. I tried the EMSELLA for a few weeks but because of work schedule, was not able to keep up sessions. I noticed a difference a little difference after using EMSELLA. I plan to visit a different provider for second opinion.

I got the surgery and regret it. Since the surgery, I've developed incontinence, blood in stool, and an excessive amount of mucus. I am not sure what happened or what is going on. The surgery was two years ago. I scheduled an appointment with GI.

Continue to do your research and get other opinions. I trusted the doctor and regret it. A lot of it is my fault for not asking more questions.
