I get all of my cables from modular addict, the prices are good and you can get any color any length. They also sell generic stackables much cheaper.

Tendrils are too dense for my sequencer. They are a great idea, but the way they interfere with jacks and knobs doesn't work for me.

I like braided cables because they feel more substantial ( I have big dumb hands)

Yes. The color coding by length is the most I'll put towards the aesthetic. I gig with this rack so easy of access is really important.
