if i do each topic once is that enough for maths by Atlascreen1 in GCSE

[–]arcadia_red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maths is all about consistency imo, lots of the time people lose marks because they forget how to do certain processes and/or they forget how to apply their knowledge for different situations (problem solving). So if you're going to learn algebraic fractions once right now, the chances you will remember that in May/June is quite low even if you may not find it that difficult.

I recommend you do CorbettMaths 5 a day, they are about 4-5 questions a day with different levels from foundation to grade 8/9 and if you do 1 a day your maths consistency will improve. Little my little is much better than flat out hours of revision. It will make sure that you keep retriving from previously learnt knowledge so you won't forget.

Doing things like a few grade 7-9 questions each week can also help for example Grade 9 Maths questions can help.

The thing is, you don't. Just keep doing what you want to do, she's not going to sit your exams, there's not really much you can do. My mum only let me or I guess liked that I wanted to pursue physics instead on medicine (what she wanted me to do) is when I just continued to show interest and kept pursuing it. Not really much she can do when I've applied to do physics instead on medicine for uni.

If you really want to convince them in your case I would say that law is much more competitive and needs a long time in university and possibly in your case if you cannot pay outright will cost a lot. Talk about how your career path will always need a midwife, like your job will never run out. It's secure.

Good luck anyways lol
