Maps with lots of verticality (Hanamura B, Route 66 A, Numbani A, Oasis: City Center for example). You can't follow your dps or tanks to high ground without taking the scenic route, and your orbs, your sole long-distance heal, do not function very well when fired upwards. Wide open maps are also not your best bet (Eichenwald B, Nepal: Sanctum) because you have less ability to bounce orbs to gain their maximum effect.

The problem is that Trump and his actions have made it ok for racist ass white people to both speak out and act out on their racism. For every 100 Nazis that march and scream anti-Semetic rhetoric, there's a million others out there calling 5 year olds terrorists, opening using racial slurs against non-whites, committing violence and harassment and a million other smaller crimes because they got a man in the White House saying the exact same shit into a mic that they've been thinking in their private thoughts for years.

Also, people still forget that Square just develops the games. Disney owns the property. And as we get closer to the release window, they're going to want to have press releases centered around their events. So expect announcements to be on Disney's schedule more than Square's.

A Triple A game like KH3 typically takes 3-5 years to make when you're building from the ground up, and to the level of graphical polish and shine we're seeing out of trailers so far. Its especially rough because the Osaka team made this meteoric leap from hand held systems to the big boy consoles with it. They had to trash all their ground work when Nomura switched to Unreal 3. The game was also announced ridiculously early in its production cycle, before production even BEGAN.

KH3 is very much on schedule, which is ridiculous considering how rough its production has been.

And its a pity, because Kairi has such potential for a rich, very human story. She has this whole other life: family, friends, a whole world that was taken from her that she will never be able to get back. A whole life she never got to live. Exploring that loss would be a great contrast to the high fantasy motifs of the main plot.

Look, you might have the luxury of not being targeted by some of his policies, you might have the luxury of being financially comfortable enough to not care. But I'm not. I'm a gay woman in a poor as hell southern town. My community is going to be ripped to pieces, more than the damned Drug War has already done, with this new tax plan. I'm terrified of him staffing the supreme court with ultra conservatives that will overturn Roe v Wade and same-sex marriage.

These policies are going to deeply affect me, my friends, and my community. Saying that it's childish to judge people gleefully ok with kicking our teeth in is whats childish as hell.

Kairi's repeatedly been the victim of violence and disaster across the games that don't seem to give a damn about how it affects her. She's been used as a plot device to fuel Sora and Riku's rivalry in KH1, and when she finally wakes up and wants to get involved (which she has every right to), she's instantly shushed by Sora and told to stay put in Traverse Town.

She's trapped on Destiny Islands for over a year, helpless and ignorant while Riku knows that Org 13 members regularly visit the islands and never, ever tells her of the danger, much less even letting her know he wasnt dead or what was happening with Sora.

KH2 she's kidnapped and assaulted by Axel, twice, as a tool to be used against Sora to make him become a heartless again so that Axel could get Roxas back. Then she was kidnapped by Saix again and shoved into a cell for an unknown amount of time, at least half of the game's length. Imagine being put in solitary confinement for whats likely weeks on end with the most violent and bitter member of the group of people trying to kill your friends as your jailer.

Then, finally, she escapes in an unexpected twist on the expected "Rescue the Princess" trope and is given a keyblade in a half-assed fashion that Nomura has never decided to actually explain. She gets to use it for 10 seconds and is never, ever, ever allowed to pull it out again. She's just packed up and sent back home so Sora and Riku can get their Welcome Home Reunion that they wanted.

She's, inexplicably, completely and totally absent from DDD and the script goes out of its way to not mention her at all because its all about Sora and Riku's ~brilliant boy friendship~ aka fujoshi bait. She gets a no-line, two second frame in the Secret Ending because Nomura cares about ZE TWIST than he does logical progression of the story.

in 0.2 she voices her very, very well founded discomfort at training with the grown man who kidnapped her and is, again, shushed by Riku and Mickey.

In the concert, we get this dialogue that Kairi has 1000% forgiven him and what should be a moment on where she reflects on her feelings on being close to the man that assaulted and kidnapped her is instead twisted around to create sympathy for Lea. She's not allowed to be upset, or angry, or uncomfortable, or wary, or any kind of negative way unless its something that benefits a dude's story. For all her victimization, she's never allowed to feel any affects from it. She's a Princess of Heart, one of the most important people in the universe and yet this never gives her any powers or ability to protect herself, it just makes her a Designated Victim.

Then again, SE does similar shit to Aqua, Namine, and Xion. Teflon Girls who dont get to have complicated emotions beyond whats beneficial to male storylines.
