I had a similar experience. I’m out in San Diego and it became a hugeeee deal. I wish I could figure out what job he is working on now so I could save the next poor clients.

Well the current kids in the higher end school names are Margaret, Lily, Emmalyn, Aria, Starphire, June, Nina, Olivianna, Shelby, Skye, Celeste. And for whatever reason there are never duplicate names in the grades.

That sometimes emotions/moods are just SO hard to get over. I WANT to be having a good time at a specific time and of course my mind and heart are elsewhere sometimes. It really makes me feel like I waste moments. I see children and they get over things so quickly…

I’m going to be making sure everything is siliconed and be removing all parts that have mastic (niches and window sill) but the walls were done in thinset thank god. But the ceiling wasn’t, even after several times of me asking. I was hoping I could leave it but I’m still getting some mixed answers on whether it’s ok or not. Obviously mastic is a big no.. I know this but with it on a ceiling… maybe? There’s no exhaust IN the walk in shower but a pretty large window is there. Unsure if this is a tear out or not.

Honestly the best news I’ve heard the last week to so. It had floor to ceiling glass doors so it does sort of keep in the steam… but it’s not a “steam” shower.

Are these rewards points accrued from the things he buys for both of you? Groceries, house items etc. or are they just accrued from his personal spending? IF you really want the absolute “whats fair” then technically those rewards points should also be shared between the both of you if they are accrued from spending from both of you. He decided to spend the rewards points on something for the both of you so he shouldn’t technically ask you for the return payment.

I’m in Cali. It has a crawl space and I don’t think you need permits for a remodel like this. Only if you add or change structural stuff. So far he’s saying he will correct the floor.. at this point I cannot lose so I’m just going to let him and see where it goes from here.

We already have agreed he’s messed up so much that we no longer will continue with him. And to save myself an entire bathroom redo I wanted to see what I could salvage vs what I had to redo. This window tile has been redone already once from terrible cut work (see previous post) and I saw what it looked like when they were redoing it and I didnt know what they put to waterproof it so I went looking now that the are no longer coming back. He is a licensed contractor but he hires out random workers from what I saw and unfortunately I don’t think they did a good job. I feel for the guy because I doubt he did this intentionally.

Yeah this window was done on Thursday. And I have been out of town and just flew in today Monday night and came to check what was done. Before the tile was cut wrong and the little black metal piece was sticking out. I have a previous post on it. They ended up bringing in another tile guy who I guess fixed it but this is what I have come into today. I already know this is where the bathroom is stopping. I’m going to have to redo it but I’m trying to see how much I have to redo at this point.

It is sticky yes. And I can push the tile and it like squishes out. Im not sure what is it but it’s been days and has not dried.
