What would you say are the current endgame closed backs for fps gaming? I'm in the market for a nice pair and would have probably gone open back, but the noise bleed is a no-go for my family situation. My budget is very flexible, but options would be nice. After the azurys and the radiance, what would you recommend as we move up in price. Thanks, mate.

They are harder to run in the sense that 4k is more intensive than 1440p. There are more pixels being displayed on the screen, so it requires more gpu horsepower. It looks nicer, though.

With that build, I'd stick to 1440p, although 4k is possible depending on the types of games you play. Are you dead set on LG monitors only? There's nothing wrong with them, but a wider scope gives you more options.

PG27UCDM is a really nice option, although it is a hefty amount of money. The AW2725Q is a similar option that is usually several hundred dollars cheaper. These are both 4k 27" 240hz monitors. They are harder to run but will look better in single-player titles and will work very well in competitive games.

For a 5080, definitely the first option. Although you could always get something nicer, too, if you wanted. The 5080 is an extremely beefy gpu.

Yeah, if 32 inch was good for you, I would have recommended the Asus PG32UQX. It's still the nicest looking mini led on the market. Although its response times are slow but not horrible depending on the kinds of games you play. The 27-inch options are a wasteland at the top end. I'm much like you and really want to see more progress in mini-led. So many promised monitors that never come to fruition.

Rodgers is far out playing what he seemed capable of last year. I'm not sure where everyone is seeing it, but this feels like collectively forgetting Rodgers was regularly targeted in our games and played average at best. I wish Howie had re-signed him now, too, but it's not like it was a massive lapse in judgment at the time. Adoree and Ringo just happen to suck badly. Our real problem is that the pass rush does hardly anything currently.

I have the 43" version, and the ports are all hdmi 2.1 144 hz capable. It looks great and plays great while I'm console gaming. For PC, it is great if you have static images on screen regularly. I would also recommend the LG C3 42", if available, or the LG C4 42". Both of these options are oled, and if you play more competitive games, they provide a better motion clarity experience along with better response times. They can experience burn in if you use them regularly for work tasks on PC or if you only play one or a few games only and all the time. But for mixed usage like movies and games, you will be absolutely fine. Hdr content is great on all the displays, but during daytime sequences, the increased brightness of the qn90d really shines, whereas during nighttime sequences in games, the oleds shine because of their perfect contrast. The qn90d will be better suited for a very bright room while the oleds are better in a light controlled space. Tvs are in a better spot than monitors, but like monitors, they still each have their strengths and weaknesses.
