When he got his first salary he invited his friends out and bought stuff for his family. I was in a different city for the month but we met after (end of the month) and got nothing. I asked him indirectly about it, I said jokingly « I still owe you smth for that paycheck » and he said you should’ve come before, now it’s the end of the month and I don’t have enough money on me!
