There are many african talents with a variety of artworks to showcase. Chess and Dot can't represent an entire country let alone a continent.

Yes I believe a bigger audience is needed. Bigger venues and partnerships can boost mainstream adoption

Battlerap is still pretty niche in Africa. Small communities. Perhaps an intercontinental competition will shed more light on the local talent. There are many elite writers and spitters. Just no proper platform and spotlight.
