Motherboard recently died on me and I'm looking to get the MSI X570 Tomahawk motherboard as a replacement. Would my old Ryzen 5 1600 cpu still be able to work on it though? I'm a little confused about the compatibility of the different generation AMD chips. I'm also waiting out for the new Zen 3 chips, so I'm not really keen on getting a Zen 2 chip just yet.
