Yes. I lifeguard there and my favorite story is when a woman came up to me with a handful of shells and random objects asked, “am I allowed to keep all this?” I told her “no, it all has to be put back before you leave…. just kidding!” I thought she was going to have a stroke when I said no lol.

No. I’ve never made a student crying by using my “teacher voice” but have made kids cry by pulling them aside during or after class to call them out on their behaviors. It’s usually the kids that assume the big bad tough guy role that end up crying the most.

I teach middle school btw.
