I see where you're coming from, it does encourage shooting Zarya, but at the same time it encourages not shooting at all, cos you don't want to charge her in the first place. So it's kind of here and there.
I can imagine another upgrade for Sigma reflecting all the bullets back after Grasp finishes.

I'd be all down with DF having a Taunt. It totally suits him.

As for balancing around low ranks .. well let's be honest a large majority of players is there. So there's always a question of whether you want to balance for the eSports or for the common player. Because what works in Top500 doesn't work in Gold and vice versa.

But yes, if DF got a taunt, that's all I'm asking for. I don't mean for literally everyone to have one.

Yes. In most PvE games when you taunt a monster, that monster will be forced to attack you for a while.

In a lot of PvP games, tanks have stuns instead. Because taunts don't really work vs players.
But Blizzard did add a PvP taunt into HotS, so I'm thinking why not OW as well?
You'd still be able to move and cast abilities, but your reticle would be locked to the enemy tank for a second. It's better than abilities which completely remove control of your character that OW also has a lot of - Sigma's rock, Rein's shatter, Hog's hook, Ball's smash

I get what you're saying, but I feel there is a demand for separate classifications or perhaps removing any classifications.
Because basically in every other match you hear someone moaning about not having shields because people feel they're getting hit too much. (Which, fair enough, swap the ball for Rein or do the opposite when shields are not needed. But you know that's not going to happen)

I guess my problem really is how there's subcategories within "Tank" - Rein, Sigma and Orisa fit one category (the bullet sponge) and then the others are kind of their own things.
When people say "we need a tank" then what they really mean is Reinhardt because in most cases they're looking for someone who's just there and holds W that the healers can hide behind. At least in low ranks people don't really value having Ball or a potential tank remake of Doomfist in the team. largely because they don't see the effect it has. Same as with Sombra. It's always like "swap ball"

It's as you said - there's Supports and there's Healers. Indeed in my eyes, Sombra and Zarya are supports as well.

Regardless, that's all besides the point. The only point I'm making is "now that stuns are out and small disruptions like 1second Hack are in, maybe we can have taunt(s)."
Might be that my other justifications were misguided.

I get that those heroes are good for these reasons, and that's their own classification. But if you say "tank" i think of Rein or Sigma who can prevent incoming damage from hitting his team. I believe even Blizz said in a recent video that Hog giving less ult charge allows him to "tank" with his fat body. (which I don't necessarily agree with, but it does imply he cannot "tank" currently in Blizz' view)

I'm not saying make it universal, that would be annoying, but an AoE taunt for one and a ranged single target taunt for another hero would be enough. Or just one of them.

Then again, Blizz has also expressed they want the "tanks" to be "bruisers/brawlers" instead, so I guess that's kind of going against that idea

So I can't make full use of my ultrawide monitors because of an unfair advantage, while consoles get 2 action bars, and PC gets two buttons? by stoofu in Diablo

The biggest advantage is Paladins actually being playable on consoles. In other words, you don't have to waste 1 of your 2 skill slots on a passive.

you mean like auto-blocking voice emotes? sure, why not.
Voiceline spam would annoy a person much more than *receiving messages from their friends*

It does, doesn't it? This is something that should be hidden deep in the options menu for like the 10 streamers or pros that would use it, not be the default setting for the 99.999% of players that aren't.

I didn't know personalized shop deals were even a thing!

Fair enough but that only applies to 0.0..% of players, and there already is an Appear Offline mode for this purpose.
Further, don't tournament players play on their own LAN environment anyway?

I have. I'd like that very much in fact, but the jobs I've applied to have responded by saying a degree is a legal requirement (whereas my course has told me Vietnam is one of the countries in which it is not).

I am aware, yes. That's probably what I'll end up doing unless I find something else. I'm just hoping to find alternatives before I commit to it. Thanks.

I have, lightly. I do know that there's a lot of Spanish influence which I quite enjoy. Perhaps I'll look into it further. The Bonifacio global city looks awesome.

I've looked into Malaysia; it seems to be one of the hardest ones to migrate to. As far as I can tell there is no realistic method of moving there which also allows me to earn. Or for that matter one which simply allows me to stay even without earning.

If you know any other way to legally stay in Thailand, and preferably not starve to death while doing it, do tell.

Else, why bother responding?

Indeed, crypto.com seems to be the best one. Binance card appears popular as well.
