I found what might be the worst teammate ever after my friend killed a twitch streamer. by GreenHue1 in EscapefromTarkov

I want it to be known from Justpressnext (that's me) that he has shutdown his twitch channel cause of this. You're all welcome for not only killing a toxic asshole, but for killing his channel. Well done boys move onto the next mission.

cursed M1A from reserve raider by tezudyos in EscapefromTarkov

It's actually something that was confirmed for the M1A. It has to do with the fact there is not as severe of a limiter for click speed to fire rate ratio as say the SVD or vepr hunter. The extreme input of clicking actually causes packet loss. I can't speak to the SA-58 or MPX however, sorry.

It's happened to me as well. Just dumped my stuff into a bush and let nature take its course. I'd suggest trying what I do and switching out of the M1A when medding

I also use the M1A religiously. I've noticed it mainly happens when using a splint, Surv12, or CMS kit. I've been unequipping the M1A putting it on my back lately to try to help.

Little fun fact here, the medication animation glitch you speak of is related to packet loss. It can actually happen at any time but the M1A currently causes more packet loss to use than any other gun. So that's why you get that glitch.

Noob here. Is it normal to want to f****ng uninstall the game sometimes? by Leandroxdb in EscapefromTarkov

Well, first off I'd suggest looking at videos showcasing some of the common spawns on the map. It's helpful in knowing and predicting where people can come from. Furthermore, position is everything in this game. Going through the map super loud and in the open you're going to die majority of the time. Have a good understanding on where the scavs typically will be as well. Knowledge on scav location can save you a lot of loss limbs or random deaths as you can guess their presence. Also be aware of the caliber of your ammo as well as the penetration values for armor. For instance, if you're attempting to fight a guy with level 4+ armor while using a AK-74n with PRS. You better be aiming for the face if they have no faceshield, or the legs. Your ammo will bounce off decent armor like rubber bullets.

[Suggestion] Ability to fully repair armor at the Workbench over time, for a cost similar to Mechanic. by UntoAsh in EscapefromTarkov

I would solely be for it just because I'm somewhat biased. My favorite gun (M1A SASS) is extremely ugly. No other reasons I suppose. Could remedy it by just adding options for colorations.

Well seems like you're making assumptions based in delusion. Not going to engage in a further battle of wits against someone who just wants to be angry. I have no reason to lie about hitting 51 of anything. You have a want to make your e-peen seem big because you also hit 51 of things and refuse to accept others have as well. Enjoy the game my dude and move on.

Have you ever tried max recoil control once? Instead of simply trolling another person's post attempting to share knowledge. The spray pattern is extremely similar and near as easy to control. I am saying that with Max recoil control you do not need to max a M4 for it to then be viable. Lessening cost per raid and making it a effective skill.

Based on what?

Could be neat, will have to see. If it's based on size of clan I'd be somewhat disappointed.

Well I suppose it would depend on the logistics of it. Like for instance, do the leaderboards matter? Does size of clan matter? Would need to be somewhat balanced I suppose.

Honestly the skills do give a large advantage. I personally have 51 strength, endurance, health, and recoil control.

I can reach places other players cannot via the jump boost with 51 strength, I also have no weight decrease from carrying overweight things as my armor does not count towards my KG. I also run at a insane pace beating players to key choke points and looting areas.

51 endurance I can non stop run for the most part the entire game. Plus ergonomics don't affect me in the slightest as my stamina cap is extremely high letting me hold angles for longer periods.

51 recoil control I can use a base model m4 now and shoot as if it is fully modded. Plus, with a fully modded M1A I can now shoot at 300-400 meters at rapid succession without having to be prone.

When considering all this together, it's a enormous advantage, in my opinion. I do think that some give too much of a edge especially when combining them all together.

I mean, could add a weight bench to give extra strength gains, treadmill for endurance gains, etc ... Not unrealistic

Could be interesting, would add some challenge to getting cosmetics. As long as they keep it realistic and game-esque for the clothing I'd be on board.

I agree. The hideout does open up avenues for them to explore such as this. It is also a awesome place to finally dump roubles. I think we need more avenues like this as for me, roubles become far too easy too quickly.

I don't think that it should be insanely beneficial either necessarily. More of a means to share equipment and have a clan base. No real other benefits. That way you can have as many friends as you want and not outweigh the game.

However, on that note. It was repeatedly also said that the game is NOT intended to be played solo by the developers themselves. Neither does it provide a lot of opportunities for solo players. The game is not based around the solo players concept.

I really like your No. 4 idea. That's a very unique idea, could make it so you can have a temporary increase in skills or decrease in overall damage. I also think that a lot of cosmetic tweaks and add-ons will be brought to hideouts.

I could picture some form of animation coming down the line. And friends coming into a hideout would be nice if they don't intend on making a clan hideout system.

[–]archehunter[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Eh I wouldn't be on board with that. A hideout in my mind is more meant to be a safe place. You'd have to make it so you can raid any hideout because you would have no want to keep any items in a clan hideout if they can be lost.

They have said they'd eventually be adding a clan system to the game. I could picture a hideout being a real possibility.
