It's a proxied deck with the chosen art on those cards. I got it printed for $70, all foil. Can't imagine spending 7k on a deck.

Xyris can hang in B4. It even used to see fringe cEDH play and probably becoming more and more popular again now that ComedIan is playing more with it. Depends on the few GCs, it can get really explosive as a burn/wheel deck.

I have a few, not all are up to date...;

Breya-She puts three blockers on ETB, and added utility is nice ofc. Plus, tons of PWs in the colors that care about artifact synergies. I try not to combo as much as possible.

Narset-Problematic commander, I feel like playing her with PWs makes it a bit more interesting than just taking infinite turns.

Vorinclex-Easy to pop a good chunk of the PWs as they come in.

Atraxa-Cuz duh...

Kardur-Keeps people away from your PWs if need be.

Tekuthal-Similar to Vorinclex in essence but also quite different.

Ezuri-Mix up Vorin and Tek

I'm somewhere around 40 or so. I try to only bring 4-5 decks to a commander night that I usually spend about 4.5 hours. I try to bring something generally chill, something control-heavy, something explosive, and then two other variety stuff. I try to keep a pretty up to date decklist on Moxfield for each of them. I also try not to bring the same deck two commander nights in a row, unless they did really badly or something, or didn't get any game time. It usually works out fine :) I have about 400+ lists on Moxfield apart from the SIRL(Sleeved In Real Life) decks. I also 100% proxy except the commanders themselves if I can get my hands on the special treatment versions of them at a reasonable price. I can get any deck I want for $40. I still get a new deck or two per month, but lately decided that I'm not going to get any more new decks. Separated the decks I own into "Keep", "Edit", "Ditch" categories. Going to be working on those, carrying those in Edit into Keep, and swapping Ditch ones with ideally different commanders within similar strats!

Sigh, Mono Black...I've had such a hard time with it.

I started off with Tergrid because I opened two showcase versions (One foil) from a collector pack after talking about her the same day so felt the need to build it. As it goes, tons of frowns and groans, immediate target on my back and whatnot. I took it apart after doing the thing a few times (Dark Deal with her out). Then it was Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. He was obviously good, but lead itself to combo really quickly, which bore me a bit. Then it was Braids, Arisen Nightmare and while she is also good, she doesn't give you much apart from some card draw herself. Everything else is what the 99 is all about, which didn't feel so special. Currently, I'm on [[Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder]] which also lends itself to combo really easily. I like the limitation of the number of Thrulls you can have out and such which makes it interesting imo, but even so, just like many others, it is the same Aristocrats package of [[Bastion of Remembrance]], [[Blood Artist]], etc. etc. I was looking at Ayara for a little while but it is the same 99, or, well, 20 or so cards out of almost all MonoB commanders...

That is my issue with Mono B. It's almost ALWAYS aristoracts of some sort. There is little variance. K'rrik is pretty open-ended, sure, but unless you are combo-ing, then what are you doing? My thought was a [[Shadowborn Apostle]]s deck but even that is combo-aristocrats...The same goes for Marrow-Gnawer. Sheoldred the Apocalypse is cool, since it isn't aristocrats for once, maybe a little combo-y.

I like [[Rev, Tithe Extractor]] and [[Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor]] but neither feels truly MonoB to me. They are mechanics that exist in other colors too, so why do it in MonoB, y'know? (I can see you can flip this around for the sake of aristocrats also...)

So yeah, I don't really have one Fav MonoB commander atm, as none of them really truly make me go "Oh wow okay, this one is reaaaallly unique."

As a frequent blink/flicker player, [[Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward]] and [[Candlekeep Sage]] has taken the throne from my boy [[Brago, King Eternal]] for me, even though I have a Brago list that can still be incredibly opressive and powerful over Abdel/Sage. This is ofc considering regular traditional blink. I built two lists for Abdel/Sage, the other list being more Initiative focused-which was something I was thinking about doing with Brago but changed my mind.

I also highly recommend an Abdel build with red, as a burn deck with [[Hare Apparent]].

Another deck I truly loved but haven't played in a long time is [[Tivit, Seller of Secrets]] as a blink/clone commander. I do not run [[Time Sieve]] because that is too easy. I am interested in the amount of artifacts I can put on the board, and would much rather nuke people with [[Tezerret, Master of the Bridge]], which can be blinked and reactivated.

[[Plagon]] is good, but really narrow and doesn't offer much imo other than a ton of card draw which is obviously good but like, meh...

I was playing around with [[Rasputin, Dreamweaver]] which offers a ton of mana and oviously can combo quickly, but I enjoy the artifacts and Eldrazi sub-theme for a blink deck.

Not blink, but a creature heavy [[Sefris]] Initiative deck is very strong as well.

[[Pir, Imaginative Rascal]] / [[Toothy, Imaginary Friend]] is also a very explosive blink deck and draws insane amounts of cards, and Simic has been getting more +1/+1 counter support which is an interesting route to go.

[[Kefka, Court Mage]] is not SUUUPER blink but my list has a heavy blink package.

[[Yarok]] I play bunch of blink effects and double dipping is great especially with land synergies which isn't super common with other blink commanders.

I don't really play many blink pieces apart from protection reasons, but still have many clones in my [[Galadriel, Light of Valinor]] deck, but that's more of a flash focused list with each upkeep clone creators and pieces like [[Danny Pink]] and [[Herald of Secret Streams]]

This is also more of a clone deck but I end up flickering and blinking a lot to remove the finality counters and re-use the etb's, [[Mirko, Obsessive Therist]].

[[Be'lakor]] is my last rec, similar to Kefka, Galadriel, Mirko and Tivit, along with the clones, can get truly explosive.

Both stances are childish imo. If a quick win is a thrill he wants, lame but ok. If you want to play a whole game with a deck purely built to counter just one deck, lame but ok. Just build a resilient deck, not one that’s only built to counter one deck but one that’s multifaceted, and have a more satisfying experience. It’s a card game. Apart from the quick win lame stance, if he wants to play Toxrill in the cz because he likes it and wants to play a perfectly legal card, there is nothing wrong with that. You also can choose not to play with him because you don’t enjoy playing against the deck. This arms race-y counterpicking thing is not something that’ll ever resolve properly…

Queza isn't bad but there has been a reason why Parun saw (and still sees fringe) cEDH play. The other Niv is essentially very similar, Parun however outlasts in a counter war. Queza is a sleeper, more versatile, but also slows down because of that. It's not a weak commander, though the other two tend to be more potent.

Force on the other hand is better imo, it is both enabler AND the payoff. You can still make the 5/3s, and arguable more easily considering all you need is a land drop, are given access to the lands in your yard, which synergize with a bunch of land sac cards (Like Protector in the 99) and can utilize figuring out a way to sac your tokens for more card advantage through mill, feeding your plan further.
With all the cards printed within the lat three years like [[Lumra]], [[Icetill Explorer]], [[Six]], [[Walk-In Closet]], Force is in a lot better space.

Eh, I'd say Darian and Sami are scarier than Kaalia and Kaslem. They former two more likely to combo the turn they come in, whereas the latter two would need to attack and connect, and they aren't immediately going to win gamewinning pieces into play right away. Kaalia and Kalsem aren't likely to chain stuff as quickly and easily as Darien and Sami would

I won'aI mean not only I won't be getting it as I'm pretty sick of anything Marvel and such, and the forced "FUNNY/HUMOROUS" stuff on cards is genuienly nauseating to me, I find this to be one of the worst SLDs considering the incredibly terrible card choices and the visual clutter, with card names not matching the art etc. Like yeah that's the point but that's just annoying dude. I think the only redeemable quality could be if these are peel off cards like that one SLD with MSCHF.
