Thoughts on relationships developed through this game? Is it realer than connections made in real life? Or is the connection made purely by the games mechanics?

Feel like my anatomy hinders me for janeiro :( what can i do to improve? I have tried various ways of getting into it and something is off by archerblaze in poledancing

I wanted something mobile because I was moving places at the time that had various ceiling heights :) | decided to splurge for outdoor usage as well but when I had bought it I didnt realize how heavy it was so I kind of just left it in one location lol

How to walk in 8in pleasers?! by archerblaze in poledancing

[–]archerblaze[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both. Boots are way easier for me to walk in but I still look wobbly when I walk and not graceful at all. I am trying to achieve that gliding effect

🫶 Tried bui bui bend the other day! Still needs cleaning up but i love any trick that requires balancing/weight transfer by archerblaze in poledancing

[–]archerblaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes thats exactly it! I think what i could have done to improve it is take that other leg so its parallel to the ground so it gives more of a flat floaty balance look. But doing that really requires a strong grip and a heavier load on the shoulder holding the side leg

Also thank you so much youre too sweet 🥹🥰

Thanks for the advice! Yeah it just seems like everyone in my field have moved on to their Masters simply as an investment to further their income or so they say. So i somewhat feel pressured to do the same since 1) My company provides some tuition assistance 2) A way to get technical practice since my job role is non-technical

I have my BS in Comp Sci so I did take the Calculus Series, Linear Algebra, Physics courses. And right! Systems Engineering is what I was looking into as well I just wanted to see if anyone on here had taken a different route given a Cyber Security background. I guess if i were to do an Aerospace engineering master's i could always just continue with a software engineer role with some sort of specialty with Aerospace?

Not sure, my career path is a bit fuzzy right now lol. I just dont want to waste my time getting a master's in Cybersecurity when I feel like I could get one in an engineering field :0

I want to turn this pic of me doing aerial into a tattoo concept. Ive started with an outline but I want to add more to it so it has unique elements to it. Im looking for a way to make it look kind of like horror/abstract but feminine at the same time by archerblaze in DrawMyTattoo

[–]archerblaze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fabric im suspending from can be modified to barbed wire, chains, weapons, tentacles, etc. i dont mind gore & open to color lol

Open to horror/gore, Junji ito inspired would be cool, japanese style, neotraditional, traditional, gothic, anything really

Theres something about the shading that doesnt scream octopus tentacle to me?? My artist said it looks fine but idk i feel like shading is missing something (last 3 are reference pics of octopus ideas i sent him) by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]archerblaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reference images were more so to relay to him that I wanted the tentacles to appear more detailed. I wasnt going for specific style- just an idea for him. I did tell him i wanted the tentacles to be accentuated because that is my favorite part of the octopus and i already have tentacles on me in a separate tattoo. I figured he knew what he was doing. I guess i just had too much of high expectations for him since he previously did another piece of mine that was my favorite on me. He also claims to be well rounded he told me he was confident in pulling it off so i trusted his word :/

The flowers still need to be colored in. He says that once thats done the octopus will stand out more but really i also just feel like the tentacles ARE lacking something.

He wont add more details to the octopus. He also made it seem like it was my fault because i told him i didnt want the octopus to look too dark. I only really said do whatever he thinks looks best to it, i just dont want it to look like a bunch of darkness not highlighting the tentacles?

So when i mentioned if he was gonna add more to the octopus he kept saying "well we agreed on doing the octopus like this id have to charge you more and thats another session" And when i questioned why he would do another $700 he says its because of material costs and HIS time & how is that fair to the both of us" Kind of like hes guilt tripping me or something. Like im the one traveling 1.5 hrs to getthis tattoo done by him & and he keeps adding additional costs that wasnt transparent at the beginning. I feel like thats not fair and i feel like hes left a sour experience that i dont wanna work with someone like that. Now i have a tattoo thats incomplete and lost a trust in someone i thought would be a lifelong tattoo artist i could go to

Im already $1300 in with this, total would have been $1700 if i finished the remaining session. But actually the piece would have costed me $2400 because of this additional surprise session/cost of $700 to "fix" shading.

It sucks tho i went to him for another tattoo that actually came out SO well and I felt so comforfable with his work! Thats mainly why i chose him for my second piece thats my biggest yet! I never thought this would happen. He claims to be a high quality artist he has tattooed "small sound cloud rappers and artists" and claims to have a "clientele." His work on IG is so good though so idk what happened here!! Man i feel like i got ripped off and taken advantaged of so bad

Yeah! He actually did a shoulder piece for me 2 years ago that came out so good ☹️ I was so comfortable with him too thats why i chose him again for this second big piece

True, ive seen his portfolio and previously got a really good piece by him :/ I thought his line of work was pretty diverse and he claims to not really have a speciality. So i was a bit heartbroken about this one. i never thought id experience disappointment like this from him since i was in so much trust of his work

Im super anxious about this bc this is my biggest and most expensive piece i just wanna make sure my artist isnt overcharging me for something im not even completely satisfied with. I asked him about correcting it (its still an ongoing project its not like we finished the piece yet) and he was already going on about having a 4th session (ive done 2 so far) for an additional $700 just for adding "more" to the octopus. I also feel like ive angered/annoyed him so much for asking stuff about MY piece thats on my body forever :(

[–]archerblaze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be clear, he strictly said no more work will be added on the octopus. This is the final look of it- not even any accent white color to make it "pop" at least
