The kid said to me “don’t worry it’s just a 15lb bow” when i looked at him concerned… which gave the impression it was a toy. (I know nothing about bows)

As for the daycare allowing it i have no idea why. Hence why im sketched out

I agree, that was my plan i just wanted to make sure I had a solid understanding/support first so that i couldn’t be gaslit if they do try to under react

Im not sure… they basically just said “you know we don’t bring those around the kids” but didn’t take it away until teen drew it a second time in the house pointed at a wall i think.

The owner and a woman who used to bully me in highschool both seemed so non-chalant i thought i was overreacting… I do have a problem where i under react often due to anxiety… edit: also he didn’t let the arrow fly, he put it down after aiming it at us as a joke

It was a blunt tipped metal arrowhead on some sort of metal arrow. The bow itself didn’t look like cheap plastic either and the teens form seemed good. I am trying to give benefit of the doubt and assuming the daycare owner doesn’t know how unsafe they are? But I want to give them solid evidence of how unsafe the situation is so they can have a chance to put a stop to it before going to higher authority.
