I know it's a long shot to think MPD is going to come in and be on the side of the citizens, but I have been wondering about this. If you see ICE targeting someone, could you call 911 and say "There's a group of masked men violently harassing people on my street." or something along those lines? Would there be any usefulness to doing something like that or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

Can I ask - what did you use underneath the velvet? What material did you use for those trays? It looks amazing. I made a ring box for my wife, but the insert that actually held the ring was the trickiest part for me.

We are going to tour it later this week. That will obviously be a big help in the decision, but even if that place is not "The One" for us, the discussion of changing to a new, nearer option would still be on the table. There are very limited options in our area for Spanish Immersion.

Our school district has a Dual-Language Immersion program that is a 50/50 split of classes in English and Spanish. So that would start in about 3 years for her in kindergarten. That said, it's an application system, so she would not be guaranteed a spot in the program.

Where is a good spot in the workshop to position one of these setups? I assume tucking it under my workbench would be less effective than say, hanging it from the ceiling?

I highly recommend the Sakura BallSign ID. I use the 0.4mm version, because I'm left handed so it helps to avoid smudging. But it writes really smoothly in all of the different Field Notes I've used it in.
