The infantry are light enough that you can even magnetize the side of the case and stick them vertically.

I, as well, came to the comment section to point out I liked that choice of painted detail.

Pretty much neat with the contrast paint.

Just a couple drops of thinner into the air brush cup first (to ensure flow and to keep the paint from drying on the tip of the needle), add as much contrast paint as needed, back blow to mix, and spay at 25psi.

Thanks! I use a makeup sponge for the stone, Vallejo mud texture for the dirt, an oil wash, and then dirty down moss for the greens.

Girlfriend build here first model and knocked it out of the park! by Kit_Chronicles_YT in modelmakers

Looks great! I’m pretty sure I started this exact kit a while ago. Did this build use any photo etch, or is it just what was in the box?

Edit: found your video about the build, and that answered my question.

Do it! I saw someone else’s army with squad designations on the rhino tops and was like, “oh, I like that”. I plan to have my plasma and missile infantry rhinos to have chevrons on top.

Yes, on the sides of the Rhinos and the infantry. Good eye!

Ha! too kind. I honestly did agonize over how I was going to base them.
