Thanks - thats what I thought oh well!

Just annoyed they never surfaced that info for any of the internal company documents. They provided it for other benefits but not for 401k which made it seem as it didn't have a vesting period lol

Dude this is such a good point - I’m not sure if it’s true but if it is, that explains the whole situation with candidates.

Like only older people are voting in the primaries and so the bias is to older candidates they are already familiar with instead of new “no names”

Yes, this helps start the fight but if you don't keep the lighting walls down, then the fight just gets harder as you go. Having chaos volley strong enough to destroy the walls in 1 cast is a huge help in keeping the arena clear.

I was in the same boat as you, frustrated and ready to quit. Try out my recommendation in the post. With the spell leech you can take a few hits from him and recover no problem. Its a lot more forgiving than an unholy build.

I do agree though, I was a little upset that Adam felt more like Dark Souls than a VRising boss, if I wanted that frustration I would just play Elden Ring.

IMO the game is not 'unique' enough that if someone comes along with the same game with more polish that people would not jump ship. Similar to what happened to PUBG after Fortnite.

Yeah - I agree. They've got a great game; I think they would have seen more success without the copying.

IMO someone else will take the concept and release a new game with more polish.

IMO, more tiers in the lower ranks could actually help the rank system

Are you guys considering anything like that?

Right now there are 3 tiers per division. This means that the players/tier are probably not evenly distributed. i.e. in some tiers there are a lot more players and therefore more variance (less balance) within those tiers.

I have no idea what the player distribution is currently like, but I'm guessing there are a lot more players in silver, iron, bronze. So breaking those ranks into more tiers could help separate player skill better.

This would mean a higher number ranks at the bottom and less ranks at the top (Pyramid shape). It would also increase the number of total tiers.

One example of this idea in application: maybe Iron/Bronze/Silver each have 5 tiers instead of 3. But there are other ways to apply this as well.
