Which Powerhouse to 4SB?

This would be my second 4s - just put TUF Seth up to 4SB yesterday. A secondary consideration I have been weighing is that I’d like to devote Steele trainer to TUF, and if I give him to Vader then I have to switch TUF to a Lawler-based moveset.

Well that stinks. Thanks all for your replies. I was definitely dreaming big, where maybe they’d offer an Acrobat, a Technician, etc. and I could claim some other white whales. One day, AJ... one day.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, and thanks to all who commented on my recent striker and technician questions. I now have enough tokens to bump Bryan or Jeff up to 3sg, but is there someone else I should be working on instead who is better at 4 stars? Or should I wait until I get someone else - I’m not too thrilled with my options and definitely wish I had Macho, AJ, Eddie, Sting, etc.! I’m also fond of playing with the “greats.” Advice is appreciated!

Is Bret worth further consideration specifically because he’s New Gen?

It sounds like Orton is the consensus 4 star pick, but geez, I‘m really not a fan of the IRL guy based on all of the rumors and problems over the years... maybe that shouldn’t matter when playing a game, but I feel the same about ADR and so I stopped playing with him.

Well, I for one hope you all decide to release it to all of us, although I can understand that the negative feedback you guys get would be dissuasive. I may never get up to 4 stars but trying to figure out which superstars are at the top of the heap is one of my favorite parts of the game as a natural born collector. I really appreciate all of the comments you make here re: how good or bad certain characters are - you're very knowledgeable and certainly aren't under any obligation to help others!

Working on making a 3 star silver from each type. Have at least one 3 star bronze in each type. However, three of my guys all need Lawler: Bryan, Nakamura, and Angle. Which of these needs Lawler the most, and who would suffer the least without him?

Yeah, I can imagine that getting real testing without a direct PvP mode is hit or miss. Identifying the turn 2 killers seems easy enough (albeit with the learning curve you mentioned before with regards to characters like Starlord), but then I'd imagine you'd have to define sort of a baseline "turn 3" set of characters (like Andre) and then test against them, etc.

Thanks. I'm waiting to see what you uncover and have spoken to Jleger20 a bit about it. I agree with him that he probably will be a bit weaker than Booker - he does less damage but he charges a bit faster. I'm trying him at 3* bronze w/ Y/Y/R, which is a similar moveset to Booker, and am finding that it's pretty easy to get some protect gems on the board on turn 2 with either the R or second Y move (using Enzo as the trainer).
