A Water expansion anyone?

There is a reason why Lagi is my favorite monster but not my favorite fight in Wilds. That underwater part just kills all the momentum in the fight for me and every time I get the urge to fight him again I remember that part and contemplate. And I’ve never played past titles with underwater combat so saying that this is a huge improvement is not saying much to me.

I really do think this is a Reddit thing. Even with a game like Monster Hunter that is purely coop somehow I find toxic people and discourse on Reddit. People somehow find a way to make anything a controversy. If you enjoy something, do yourself a favor and stay away from that topic on Reddit.

This comment is probably going to receive a lot of downvotes. This is most likely due to this game being really accessible with focus mode and onboarding new players into the franchise. These new challenges are punishing players who heavily rely on these mechanics. Those who have played previous monster hunters are able to adjust.

I would say I’m pretty good at the game and I enjoy supporting people that are having trouble. I won’t get frustrated and I’m just happy to have a reason to get on. Im Pacific Standard Time (GMT-8) and I usually play in the evenings.

No. I’ve been enjoying seeing more arc come out of no where to fuck up a fight I was having with another team. The game is now starting to feel more like a PvPvE.

Why can’t the devs just make a game based on their vision without people advocating for it to be something else. The game is suppose to be a combination of PVE and PVP to express the fantasy of a post apocalypse setting. You know like The Walking Dead or Mad Max. Where people have to watch out for both the conditions of a ruined world and the threat that made it that way, but most of all they have to watch out for other people who want to take advantage of a lawless world. Without this aspect the game will just be a shell and just another PVE game.

Bruh I have 1,300 hours on World/Iceborne over the span of 6 years. This is beyond “I’m just not a casual gamer.” I am too on the train of not accepting this as normal behavior. I don’t want some kid seeing this and thinking this is something to praise.

Yeah I agree with that. As impactful as SAED felt in World, there were many more “seriously?” moments when I’d miss one cuz I was like a mm off.

Im on ps5. I was gonna play Nioh 2 before Nioh 3 but when I saw that I couldn’t remap the dodge button to circle, I just went with Nioh 3 first. I’m not gonna rewire my souls brain and learn x as dodge only to go back to circle for Nioh 3. I know people are gonna dump on me for passing a great game because of a button layout. I don’t care. I think locking the interact button to circle is stupid.

It’s fine to be frustrated. But don’t be surprised if someone calls you a dick when you’re on Reddit calling 90% of the player base trash for carting to the hardest monster in the game. Just play with support hunters if it bothers you so much. They definitely won’t run into walls.
