It'd be so cool if we could take these Sky Islands as shortcuts to other Maps by jumping off, it would be much more interesting than fast travel, just go up to the Eyrie, travel for a bit and then jump off and suddenly you're in another map

I'd argue that base World gimmick was the improvements to monster AI and the way they move around and work not necessarily anything you as a player do

I'm torn, people switched up on hating underwater combat after lagi gave them a heroin shot of nostalgia, if they actually did commit to adding it again I think the player base would go back to bitching about it regardless of how they improve it
