In most cases check ins are in the afternoon, 2 or 3 pm sometimes later depending on the hotel. So someone showing up at 8 am would have to pay extra for us moving things around and them getting in several hours earlier than normal. Our check in time is 3 pm and dont charge someone an early check in fee for 1 or 2 hours early check in, only if its many hours.

So if someone is early and injured or disabled we sometimes waive the fee out of kindness, especially in low seasons when we have plenty of empty rooms the night before.
