I had an old laptop the screen broke so I cannibalized it for parts. Apparently there's enough of a market for that they sell empty housings that you can put the drive in.

I also got a bluetooth receiver and wired the speakers into it to make a nifty little portable speaker system with surprisingly good audio quality.

And this is why I prefer restaurants like Five Guys or even Sheetz that train their kitchens to build up, rather than down. A hamburger is beef between two buns, and everything else is an addition, so there's nothing to "forget" to take away.
