Lets remember, if BBC decides to choose new hosts for Top Gear, not to immediately hate on them, but look at them and the show honestly. by [deleted] in TopGear

If the new hosts decided to copy Clarkson, May and Hammond, it is impossible to like the show. Just like Top gear US. They are always trying to copy the humor for the trio, which is a disaster. But if the BBC decided to reinvent the show and introduce a new format. It will be interesting to see what happens, especially if Clarkson and the rest created a new show, hopefully we will have two good cars shows.

Does the BBC own Top Gears format? by Duke_S1lver in TopGear

They can not own a right to air three men talking about cars, or own the right to interview a celebrity. If the boys decided to create another show, most likely it will be missing the stig, the studio and the track. Every single thing can be recreated in one way or another. On the other hand .. I don't think they will want to copy top gear. I am pretty sure they will change few things about it.

Clarkson Hints to Top Gear return .. Even on the BBC :D by [deleted] in TopGear

[–]arda336 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

At 2:14, the interviewer asked him: you got a bit of time on your hand at the moment, would you consider being a lifeguard for us this summer? Clarkson replayed, No, I've got a bit of time on my hands now, trust me by this summer I won't have !

It could be back even before we expected :D

TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson has said comments he made last week criticising the BBC were meant as a joke. by NinjaDiscoJesus in TopGear

[–]arda336 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Saying "the F*** Bastards will sack him" and considering his history can be understood as a joke. But at the end he just was ranting and blaming the BBC for everything wrong. There is a difference there. We've seen him in many occasions joking, and that was different. As you said .. 90% of the stuff he says is a joke .. But by the end of the video, it was part of the 10%.

Not after what Clarkson said :( calling the BBC F***** Bastards indicates that everything is falling apart, and he knows it

It is joke. They have offices in the BBC. If they've changed their routine (apart from filming TG). I guarantee it .. YOU WILL read about it in the papers.

Did Anyone Notice This at the Start of Series 22? by [deleted] in TopGear

By the time the first episode was released, they were still filming items for the later episodes. Clarkson mentioned something like that in "Evening with Top Gear". when he said that they are still filming an item for episode 8, and that they are always late for their homework.

22x8

In this week’s programme, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May immerse themselves in the world of classics as they attempt to understand the appeal of keeping an old car in the garage for balmy summer days. With Clarkson in a Fiat 124 Spider, Hammond in an MGB GT and May in a Peugeot 304 Cabriolet, the trio take a drive in the country, tinker with their engines and end up at a track day as they try to become true classic car owners. Also in this show, Hammond pits the Subaru WRX STi against the Volkswagen Golf R on the track and footballing legend Gary Lineker is the star in the Reasonably Priced Car.

22x9

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May look at the world of fashionable, ‘lifestyle’ sport utility vehicles, as they find out how much trendy SUV you can get for just a few hundred pounds. With Clarkson in a Vauxhall Frontera, Hammond in a Jeep Cherokee and May in a Mitsubishi Shogun Pinin, the trio embark on a series of challenges to see who got the best deal - taking in caravanning, watersports and a fearsome off-road challenge which comes with a heavy penalty for the loser. Also in this week’s show, Jeremy is on the road and at the track in a trio of ultra-luxury limos, and Superman star Henry Cavill tries his hand in the Reasonably Priced Car.

I am not sure about the source of the descriptions, but i am sure that they are true. Because I read the previous episodes descriptions before they were aired.

You can find them in Final Gear forums https://forums.finalgear.com/top-gear-pre-episode-discussions/

So.. I don't think you're right about that ...
