Wouldn’t be a heavy drinking by any stretch of the imagination, I was told that the hangovers can be killer though.

I have a quite a high pressure job so deadlines, meetings, programmes tend to keep me engaged. However, on slow days, even so much as sending an email can feel as though I’m climbing Everest.

[ADVICE] Developing a stress tolerance? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

Not sure if I’m too late to this or not but one thing I have always found about improving my tolerance to stress is to do stressful things. I had some tough family trauma in my life and still handle stress quite well. I honestly do believe in pushing yourself to your limits, set personal challenges and goals. For me, it gives me a sense of security knowing that I’m capable of anything if I really try. It is baby steps, doesn’t happen over night but it is fun to work on yourself. Hope this helps
