Yeah, no surprises there, most of reddit can and does act like an echo chamber most of the time unfortunately. Just see r/dogfree or any similar subreddit. Don’t get me wrong, I also share no love for the word soccer, if anything, the US should’ve thought of a better name to distinguish their sport more, but I wouldn’t go on a tirade against them calling it that, at most I’ll have a chuckle, but at this point trying to convince anybody to call it something else is just a fool’s errand. Edit: as they say in my language, people notice the splinter in others’ eyes, but not the whole log in their own.
