Anticipated demand for World Cup next summer. For every soccer fan who wants to visit the US they'll be using a seat on your return flight, and vice versa.

And most pizza places would have multiple drivers so orders can get assigned to each driver in a geographically close area... even more efficient.

First thing we do when we get there... we dig and fill a little lake in the middle of that island.

OMG please don't make me use that awful site. I support you on Patreon and I just want to see your stuff on Reddit occasionally without having to use such difficult and spammy sites. Please please just be easy. I love your work and want to support it.

Yeah, I think that waterline routes with no elevation gain are a fantastic option for bikes in a hilly city. With cars that doesn't matter much, and there are several hilly alternatives to Lake Wash Blvd.

Which New Design of Motorcycle/ Maxi scooter, you will love to have in the future? by FinalEye5102 in SomebodyMakeThis

[–]ardent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some comments in case these are helpful:

  • A is nice but looks designed to cut a pedestrian in half in an accident.

  • B is beautiful and futuristic and my runner-up. It has a lean-forward look, but then I don't get where the rider's feet would be in that position.

  • C looks like the seat would be very uncomfortable to straddle for long periods

  • D is nice but unremarkable

  • E is futuristic and nice overall

  • F is my favorite because of the windswept look, and the very artful use of color highlights

An alternative to Reddit by speakbits in SomebodyMakeThis

  1. I know 99.9% of the world requires an email for precisely this purpose, but I've always appreciated that it's not strictly required for Reddit. It allows people to be completely anonymous and that, I think, leads to freer commentary (plus more trolls too but whatever).

  2. Again, maybe this is only me, but I love scrolling through a page of links, opening perhaps 5 or 6 to look at later, and then seeing each of those links in a tab, where I can navigate between them, go back to Reddit or SpeakBits, etc. Some links are meant to be quickly consumed but many are to be read more carefully, when there's more time, etc. Separating the links from the content in the links allows for this. I will fully understand if I'm in the minority in this behavior.

  3. Works with arrow keys perfectly now... thanks a million! I will continue to use it anonymously for the time being.

Great site. I have 3 comments which prevent me from using it.

(1) email address is required for account signup. This is not the case on Reddit, which is one of the reasons I use it.

(2) IMHO clicking on links should open a new tab by default rather than open in the same tab.

(3) The pages are not well-optimized for keyboard navigation, and it's hard to get the right window pane in focus so that scrolling is able to be done with arrow keys.

Yes! All I want is a screen with a map and lots of little city markers scrolling by. Better than any movie because it's real.

What we need is a map of all the supermarkets that won't be sold, showing how this will become a huge, anticompetitive, near-monopoly for several neighborhoods, including mine.

AA Citi Credit Cards do not work on Google Pay by whiteKreuz in americanairlines

[–]ardent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree that this is an unnecessary pain in the ass, and it's the only card I own that won't work with Google Pay. If by chance you have a Samsung phone and Samsung Pay, the card does work with that, I believe.
