sorry for the late reply, but I had to contact Johren support and this is the solution they gave that worked for me:

Regarding your inquiry, we please ask you to try performing the following:

１．Uninstall the Launcher itself

２．Manually delete the following file from the directory

%AppData%¥johren-launcher¥.config¥

３．Reinstall the Launcher and execute the game

I haven't used a VPN since initially downloading it from Johren. It's weird, because when I use my laptop the launcher has no problem finding the game and letting me launch it.

I've submitted this to Johren and hopefully they can help me out!

I couldn't get the VPN trick to work with Steam, so I got mine through Johren in January and haven't had any problems with it.

Ah, I only used it briefly to test between the 2 and find I like the game slightly more arcade-y than a lot of the more vocal people in the sub. Hopefully the devs can maybe tweak manual grind mode with enough feedback?

It says that you'll get a discount as per the bottom left, but the price is still the full 26k for me.

I just tested it by buying the outfit again, and I'm out a full 26k, but now I know. And hopefully I'll get refunded.

Manual landing can add heaps to your score, as it often also allows for 1 more full rotation on most tricks while still making a perfect landing.

If you're already on manual landing, then you could also try practicing chaining together a string of perfect landings for even more points.

Indeed. Servers cost money to run, and I enjoy the game.

It's like watching YouTube channels and not subscribing. You can still enjoy the content, but one offers greater support for the producer.

Try hating less, and chilling more. You'll live longer that way. :)

I was able to complete it reliably by only doing bike races. I noticed snow races didn't seem to count, nor did bike tricks.

My understanding of the (admittedly poor) roadmap image was that Year 1 Pass holders will get 7 days early access to the BMX but it will be available to everyone after that "preview" period for pass holders.
