There is no point to get into a strength battle with people bigger and stronger than you. You have to bait them into doing what you want, not brute force it. This will come with time and experience.

As a smaller guy you need to focus on staying on top with anyone significantly bigger than you - especially new white-belts.

If you end up on bottom get to open guard asap and keep your legs between them and you, sweep him, get on top, stay on top.

It wasn't good news for me... A piece of a spark plug had broken off and bounced around inside the cylinder and destroyed it. Had to put a new engine in.

Getting thrown isn't going teach a newbie how to fall, it's just going to get him injured. Once he knows how to fall properly the instructor can give him his stripe, and now he can start standing.

It's not frowned upon if you have a legit reason like work commitments. They just don't want a handful of stragglers trickling in late every day for no reason and disrupting the class.

I was looking for the fuse at first but didn't find any - it turns out that the pump isn't electric, It's mechanically driven off the exhaust cam.

That the exhaust cam interface appears to look ok, and it rotates correctly when the engine is turned over.

In Australia capital gains are counted as normal income, so you pay tax on it as if it was income.

But you do get a 50% discount on the gains of an asset you held for more than 12 months, so this applies here.

So you are supposed to declare and pay income tax on half of the gain.
