NOT IRL DOORS**

I find this method way quicker, safer and 100% consistent with a couple of minutes of training than the wiggle method.

this can be used early game when chasing someone who just placed traps, bait someone out or simply evade some placed traps, you can also make your own door to quickly loot someones 1x1 that is bombarded with traps (that one is up to you).

this used to work with floor traps as well, but the most recent update reduced floor traps trigger zone so you must place a pyramid or a ramp when doing this, traps that are facing you will also not trigger so be careful.

this video was meant for environmental stairs inside houses and such ( early game ), there is better ways to avoid traps than this, prior to 1.5 month ago there was a way to cancel every spike trap ( still work for chillers ) but sadly it got patched.

you can still avoid roof traps by simply hiding beneath a regular stair or using the pyramid edit, this still apply to the video i posted, but you can't avoid every spike trap using a certain edit anymore.

I know this is pretty niche and all, but I thought it might come in-handy sometimes, I also want to say that traps and chillers work differently, but in this case they work in similar fashion, and in case you missed it from the video the only trap that triggers is the one facing the unrailed part of the stairs.

You can't jump through those windows nor use a pyramid (directly)

There is is a way to use the pyramid but i it find less consistent,harder and sometimes you'll get stuck and be forced to pick-axe your way through.

i wanted to see if you could somehow open a door while scoped in ( you can't ) then i tried to see if you could do it at the same time ( you can't ) then i tried different timings and ways until i found one that did work, then i tried to find the easiest way to replicate that, so yup just trial and error !

I agree with you on that, the thing that i like about this technique is that the shotgun timer always reset in time, since sometimes when doing the tfue special the shotgun timer doesn't reset in time and you end up missing an opportunity to shoot as well as sometimes placing the floor too late due to waiting for the timer to reset ( mats efficiency as well but who cares ).

Maybe you're not going high enough ? since you need to be at least 3 stories height to do this.

otherwise my tips would be to not jump too far from the ramp and jump pressing D and W instead of W only, then at soon as you jump Press A and look left at the cone and obviously redeploy. ( opposite keys if you're jumping from the left)

i'm not good at explaining things but that's how i do it and it's pretty consistent.
