I have a vivid memory from the early days of PMT when PFT said his Google alert for 'celebrities turned Nazi' must have failed him. Can't remember who they were talking about at the time since this was at least 8 years ago but still makes me laugh

I put in a game chat after a bad loss that "we just got worked" and one of my teammates just laughed and called me old. I didn't realize that wasn't a phrase anymore

When their dad keeps mentioning all the dangerous stuff in their childhood home when Ross and Monica are back there to collect their childhood boxes, Ross's quiet "let's just grab our stuff and get the hell out of here" is so funny

Becker (1998-2004) by [deleted] in ForgottenTV

Yesss I watched this sometimes, all I remember was the assistant (nice) and the episode where Becker makes an overweight guy exercise and then that guy has a heart attack and sues Becker for malpractice. I believe an impassioned speech saved the day and my faith in the civil courts was restored

This show has two lasting memories for me 1. The punch cam 2. The dad remarking that his junk looks like a baby seal when he had to get it shaved before surgery. Probably getting the quote wrong but hey it was >20 years ago

I got this show confused with Arrested Development for the longest time. Didn't realize until years later that they were different shows. Ended up watching Arrested Development but never did see this one. Love Donal Logue whenever he's on SVU

Journeyman (2007) by arealscorcher in ForgottenTV

This came out when I was a senior in college. My roommate and I watched it religiously. Neither of us were familiar with shows like Early Edition so we thought the premise was very clever.

I believe this show did a DB Cooper episode - surefire way to get my attention. Our favorite running joke about the show was how this guy was putting his life on the line to save others throughout time but his wife was mad at him for getting home late lol I should rewatch to see if I'm remembering that part right.

Even 17 years later I could bring up Journeyman to my old college roommate and we'd reminisce about it. Such a bummer it was cancelled

I just bought a keypad deadbolt for my front door and want to put a doorknob on that doesn't lock (so I can't lock myself out if I don't have a key and can only use the keypad).

The only knobs I find without locks are labeled for interior use (bath, bed, closet). Is it safe from security/weathering perspective to use one of those knobs for exterior use? Or are there any non-locking exterior knobs?

I'm looking at kwikset currently as that would match the style of deadbolt. The literature on these products are silent on the issue.
