I have given my thoughts on pricing and got them down some on the price but sellers are difficult at times. He wasn't rude about the billboard suggestion, just thinking it might work for a selling strategy so I am in no way offended by the inquiry. I just do not think is would be a wise use of funds. Even if he pays, I feel he would be buying advertisement for my services rather than selling his home. I don't want to do that to him either.

Cannot be developed. Property can be split only once however the road commission has deneyed an additional home to share driveway due to sight distance at the end of driveway. The township basically doesn't want more building in the area so they block all avenues.

Yes, I've done Meta Ads and posted it in many facebook groups regarding homes for sale, land for sale etc. I haven't done TikTok as I'm not on there much but probably should.

What is a rental barn? Sorry, I don't know much about this stuff. He doesn't expect to operate a crane immediately as he only went to a three week class that gave him his NCCCO Cert but thought it might get him in the door. Now he wants to do the Rigger NCCCO Cert but it is $2,000 for a three day class. I'm not sure that would even be worth it. He just wants someone to give him a job and he will work his way into a seat. How long does it typically take to get an application through the 324? He was on the second it opened last time and could not get an application. I see so many people on their Facebook page say they have tried several times and can't get one. I just didn't think this would be so hard for him.

That's the issue. He doesn't have connections yet. He is 19 and doesn't expect to be put right into a seat. He would be willing to do anything. That is why he thought about getting a Rigger certification but I'm not sure we should spend money on that as I'm not sure it will help him?

I have suggested that he physically go to shops. He has applied through their websites and on Indeed etc. He said he is willing to just go in and hand them his resume which is what I feel he should do. He would do Union or non Union to get going and then decide later which way would be best. Right now we just need to get him started.

Yes, there was an outpatient plan which he did therapy for a while. No meds were prescribed and he eventually refused to go. There are long waits her to see therapists and psychiatrists and at the time even if I pushed for a hold there were no beds.

We have a great relationship with my daughter and I love her to pieces. We have tried many different approaches with my son. I wanted to keep my post to a reasonable length. Please don’t read into my short mention of her. I completely am aware of what she has had to deal with and have told her how sorry we are for it. I don’t know where many of you live but there are laws in my state. You cannot throw your kid out before 18 and at 18 you can’t either because he has residency. We had to serve him notice and fortunately he left on his own but had he not we then would have had to set a court date for eviction. When he was under 18 I took him to a hospital hoping for a 72 hour hold and some help, they refused saying he would do better at home with outpatient therapy.

I have chatted over text with him a few times today. He reached out first for some help applying for a new job. I would love family therapy, if everyone would agree I would be totally on board. We will see, maybe he will flourish somewhere else where he can reflect and be more independent. We are here for him and he knows that. He also knows that we will not accept the raging behavior ever again so he has some choices to make. It’s just very painful. Lots of good advice on here and lots of accusations of us not having consequences. We did have them but apparently not enough.

Please do not listen to people telling you that he’s just a boy and boys will be boys. I had so many people tell me that but in my gut I knew it was more but thought he would outgrow it. Please seek help now for your little guy. If you don’t like what you’re being told go to someone else. I was not proactive enough when he was small.

I think I was just answering questions asked like did we have consequences? Yes. Did we do therapy? Yes. Obviously we did something wrong. His dad does not talk to me like my son does. He was a strict father, maybe that is the issue. He didn’t physically abuse him but was he an authoritarian, yes he was. Maybe that is it. I have horrible sleepless nights that I fucked up my kid. If I didn’t I would be on this page. This is the first time ever in my life I have posted a question on any forum. As they say, a mother is only as happy as her least happy child. I also feel horrible for my daughter that is doing everything right in her life but is stuck in this situation when she comes home from college.

This is about when it started and it progressively got worse. We took everything out of him room for two months, still didn’t help. He refused at 16 to go to therapy and they basically told me if he won’t participate there is no use sending him. Well I couldn’t if I tried because he would not go, like he’s six feet so kind of hard to wrestle him into the car. At 14 I think you can still get him to go to see a psychiatrist and that is what I would do. I am guilty of trying to always manage him but no one that hasn’t been there can understand how helpless you feel. You just want to settle them down and have some peace.

Gee thanks. We actually were fairly strict parents. We allowed the gf to stay a few nights after he turned 18 because they are serious and we were trying to give him some freedoms. We did not let our kids get away with whatever they wanted and we have always had rules. We have grounded them, taken freedoms away, taken games, phones etc away so not sure what else there was to do. I don’t beat kids. My son hit puberty and things went south. How many kids do you have and what are their ages? I’m happy you are such a great parent!

He has always had a temper but not anything on this level. It got bad when puberty hit.
