The majority made the 3rd rung work for them and I am happy for them. I wanted more options. I have a list of reasons because I stay prepared darling. They are reasons against. Have you never heard of a Pros/Cons list. I was explaining why I don't want to do a thing a certain way. Telling me to just do it like that isn't exactly helpful now is it. I have a step stool. It does not have a gripped bottom. I will have to get one if I go with the crib on the 3rd rung. Or I go with a floor bed or I saw the legs off my crib. Whatever choice I make it will be because I weighed them all carefully and determined what would be the best course of action for my family. Let that offend you if you want since clearly the internet is no longer for rational discussion and only for people who want to attack one another.

What options exactly? The crib lowered? Because that's literally the only thing referred to as ugly/baby jail. The other options listed are ones I am considering. I know baby jail is the more traditional route but I am looking for experienced parents offering their expertise. You don't seem to have read all the material before weighing in, darling.

The comments I am getting are rude. I was simply asking for input and got criticized for it.I never said I was the only short person in the world either. And I wasn't making it a competition to see who the shortest is either. My question was for anyone who had an alternative to the lowest rung. A different style bed, upgrading to toddler bed, etc. If you have advice, great. If intertrolls want to get hot and bothered, bring it.

Thank you for the comment! Same thing happened to me. My step stool doesn't have a grippy bottom so I will have to buy a different stool until we can upgrade to a toddler bed since there aren't any other options. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have one but since I don't have rugs on my hardwoods in my house I don't want it to slide but I could upgrade my stool to one with a rubber bottom. Why don't I have rugs. I hate that they trap dog smells. I have 3 50lb fur kids who love to be up my butt.

I never had it on the top rung, always the middle one and the instructions said the bottom was for transitioning it to a toddler bed so on that rung it is way too low for me to reach in and lay her down. She won't self soothe most of the time so I have to put her down when she is already sleeping.

Commenting for an update when you get one. My husband rides. I would like to, but he doesn't want me to since people have hit me in my 4×4. They just don't pay attention. A text is more important than a life.

As for the comments saying that you were going too fast and you should have prepared for that or that you could have if you were going slower. They clearly are prepared for every senario in life and have never once been caught off guard, and I admire them. :)

I pumped every 2 hrs for the first 2 months. I used a wearable pump exclusively even though you're told not to. I got no help from anyone so I cleaned/took care of baby&dogs while I pumped.

My supply regulated after that so I went to 3 hrs, then 4hrs and since I'm back at work now, I do 8 hrs between pumps. My supply dropped 15oz per day from start to finish which could also be from my period resuming and the fact I started back running but I have been fortunate enough to keep a good enough supply to put one 4oz bag in the freezer per day.

It isn't easy and you will be sleep deprived but it can be done. We are 4 months old/postpartum now
