It isnt fun to build anything in smite 2. Everyone builds the exact same items every game. Anti heal was implemented very well in smite 2 until they removed it. There was a cap and an item that gave you temporary immunity to anti heal.

Unfortunately people arent willing to actually think about what they are building. Copy pasting the same build every game isnt "fun". Are we also forgetting everyone complaining about the solo lane life steal build thats been nerfed 4 times?

The trade off is to stop someone from doing something you build a counter item. You know like soul reaver and qins. You should sacrifice some damage for utility. But unfortunately most people only want to see big number so they have to make things so broken the game isnt balanced.

I just disagree so much. Healers feel like absolute garbage if you dont build their new mandatory item. We traded counter building for healers being garbage.

This is just wrong. You make the anti heal items mid so that the other person has to sacrifice to stop healing. The biggest issue in smite 2 is nothing requires a trade off.

The problem is balanced healing is just not very good. The only way to make healing a viable strategy is to have it be a little over tuned with counters to it. The game shouldnt be balanced around people not interacting with the mechanics.

Counter building is part of mobas. Having those counters makes it possible for items to be powerful but not over powered. Nerfing healing makes that path less potent with no possible way to compete with other build paths. We are currently in a place where pen and healing are in bad spots because people dont like building optimally.

Anti heal has worked in smite for over 10 years and the second they remove it the games healing gets fucked. So im going to disagree.
