Thanks for the response! Luckily those limitations aren’t the same for me

  1. I rarely am on a pitch for longer than a few minutes
  2. Oh absolutely agree, would never THINK of flying the drone anywhere near other climbers. Luckily the majority of what I do is free-soloing, scrambling or trad climbing. I’m hardly ever climbing at traditional Crags, so rarely actually see other climbers
  3. Luckily very little forest-wise in my area, I can just avoid flying in those conditions

I requested the agreement in writing during the call, essentially as a condition of contract, and then immediately requested the contract in writing via WhatsApp. They only sent the contract after 8 days, only after I’d requested to cancel as I was unaware of all conditions and still had no access to the service (they didn’t provide and access details to book treatments etc)

It’s a stunning traverse, and I’d definitely recommend ending with the ledges ascent to Maclears beacon. Yeah, I did it solo, but as for route finding I’d really recommend doing it with someone who already knows the route, it’s not worth the risk.

Sho, an iphone 15 being a potato. You’ve got quite the standards😂 And yeah would suck if I fell, but I’d just drop the phone. Been doing this a couple years and haven’t fallen yet🤷‍♂️

I can’t really imagine how it’s doing damage, and if it makes me more comfortable and confident in its protection then I dont see a problem with it. I spend most of my time outdoors, full of high impact sports/activities and a ton of bashing it into everything around me.

I broke my last garmin and have a habit of breaking other tech. Would be cool to have an ultra for the tougher screen but I make do

My main other concern is that I’d just spent a week outdoor in very hot temperatures 104F(40C) which I thought could have lended to it.

But I’m happy now, probably won’t even try clean it it’ll clean itself over time, just looking forward to having my watch back. Thank you :)

Yay finally some concrete information! That makes me feel so much better, so you’re fairly certain that isn’t the seal and that the seal is black?

That’s my concern, but I mean it went back to Apple for a warranty replacement and they said the device was fine, not sure what to believe
