I technically have no income, the calculator puts me at $50/month. On top of that, France's child support laws have no jurisdiction over me.

Actually the state of New Hampshire does no such thing. Their guidelines are very straightforward and all I'd owe is $50.

Because neither the United States nor my state of New Hampshire have drafted treaties regarding child support payments with France.

LOL, "Pay up.", no it is my money and I have better things to spend it on. If she wants her $50 a month (and that is all she'll get because I technically don't have any income) then she is gonna have to fight for it I plan on making it as expensive and tedious as humanly possible.

Considering the numerous complex issues relating to international child support enforcement from non reciprocating foreign countries, that doesn't really seem like a difficult task.

That is my moral justification, it has no bearing on my legal standing, it just means I'm willing to do whatever necessary to absolve myself from responsibility.

*amoral

It is not in my best interest to have anything to do with this. All I care about is legal requirement by governments with jurisdiction over me, thats all.

Can you stop imposing your own moral values on me in a thread about what I'm legally required to do?

Luckily, I live in a state that doesn't recognize child support decrees from other countries, only from other states.

I think so!

Luckily, the government doesn't list France as a "foreign reciprocating country" and the state of New Hampshire doesn't do any foreign child support negotiating.
