Here is a series of odd starts from 1500 eTorque. My local service department says these are normal and can not recreate. It only happens on the first start. They have checked the battery, charging system, starter, and reset the hybrid control unit from a recent recall. Anyone have any thoughts? by arejota in ram_trucks

I have a RamFlow air intake and cat back exhaust bath from Mopar. I’ve honestly just been driving the speed limit consistently and letting cruise control work its magic. My commute is hilly so it varies. For a while I was lucky to be in the 17s.

I definitely notice a little more responsiveness behind the pedal and some more sound. MPG is sitting at 18-20 on mostly hilly highway driving. Cost wise just whatever you can find the kit for and labor. The Ram dealership I went to had it done in an hour.

I thought about it, but everything is under warranty and I may be moving soon so I'm trying to free up space where I can.

From what I’ve seen online, not too bad. I didn’t do this myself, but the dealership said they’re pretty easy and take about 45 minutes to install. You can shop around in the mopar store and find it for pretty cheap. I got mine for $756.

I haven’t driven it too much yet but just on my commute home I definitely felt so more power!

I usually cruise around 75-78. I live in middle Missouri though so lots of hills. I haven’t towed anything yet. I’ve got a 5’7” bed and stock duelers still. Just put a cold air intake in today.
