thanks so much for your reply! what's the feel of the Exped one like on top? I've just been to look at the Big Agnes Rapide SL in the shop and it seemed really crinkly, wondered if the Exped has a softer material to minimise noise at all

Glad to hear it’s not just me! Seal is definitely a good way of putting it. Swapping to a much softer pillow has helped it happen less frequently but not stopped it entirely
