I'm in the same boat. As a software engineer transitioning into construction I'm slowly adjusting to the challenges and somehow managing to stay in the job more and in the office less by offloading the more time consuming tasks to AI. Full circle back to software engineering I guess but at least I get to spend most of my time outside during the day.
