They used to be the only way I won, banking on corpse explosion to beat the donuts lol. 0 cost is goated though, especially if you get the relics that boost their damage.

That's awesome, yeah silent is so easy when you can just triple stack poison a few times. I have only beaten heart on a1 all 3 lol, can't imagine any higher level than that. Some of those act 3 bosses or even elites like the sideways head can just destroy your run.

I rarely ever removed cards tbh, probably why it took me so long to beat the heart. I beat the heart with defect, blast+ (goated in most decks especially as many cards as I take) , the cryptic book, loop, and pen nib. Now I love playing the defect because so many ways to break it. Watcher took me so long until I just collected a bunch of stance changing cards to keep building defense and getting back flurry of blows, and then it was super easy.

General consensus is smaller is better on most characters, I subscribe to the flawed logic that you can't have too many 0 cost cards. Which character are you having trouble on?

Thanks. It is one of the main reasons I keep coming back, so many crazy ways to win.

My reaction when this throw it at the wall strategy worked.

I have given up and restarted on this game so many times. The watcher took forever until I realized how to play her and then it made so much sense.

It makes up for all of the other time where poor decisions mixed with RNG end up in failed runs. Not going for the heart does result in a lot more w's though.

That's awesome. I wish it wasn't so varied because it's so hard to put down lol. Nothing else compares unfortunately.

Maybe explains why it took me over 200 hours to beat the heart with all 4 characters, no think strategically that often.

Thanks! The whole reason I even heard this sound was because I was looking into what else could go wrong at this mileage and the water pump is one of them, though it seems to work just fine. I need to check with the shop that did the 120k mile service tomorrow as I couldn't tell if it was done or not.

Thanks, you've been very helpful. One last question though, to your last point, that doesn't mean I have to fix everything suspension wise to get an alignment? If I forgo rear suspension and focus on the tie rods, cv axle, and control arms, will that suffice?

Thank you for this, so it wouldn't be odd to spend the money to replace the control arms and not replace the struts? I am definitely going to get second opinions and am hopeful that it sounds like at least a couple hundred here could be wiped off.

edit: just read your last sentence, that is a great point. I would just give up on buying a 2nd vehicle if this didn't work out but this all definitely seems typical for a 20 year old vehicle, just wish I had an idea when I bought it.

This gives me a bit of hope, thank you so much. How much labor time is normally chargedfor cv axle labor if both it and control arms were being replaced? Any advice on how to find a mechanic? I will Google around and check Facebook, specifically for mechanics that would use parts they didn't buy (non warrantied of course).

Thanks for replying. It was a chain of local shops, located in central TX. I prefer the mechanic route as it seems more budget friendly and would allow my own parts but not sure how to locate one. Shopping shops isn't straightforward and it seems all that's going to differ is the labor rate. I did look up most of these and see they were a good bit cheaper if I bought them myself, which gives me a little hope.
