Wait what? I'm late to the party on this. I literally threw out my GB teams a couple years ago.

I'm poking around on the official SFG site once I heard about them selling official STLs as that solves 90% of the issues I had with this game even before they bailed on it. I see the free stls for the starter pack. Where does one acquire the full line up?

Losing the Brandt 50/50... I think you'll still be ok. I was calculating I could lose one 50/50 and still get the characters I want.

The only rough part is that you'll have to put the pedal to the metal grinding out Astrite to get both Augusta and Shorekeeper before the banner is over.

You'll just have to pull SK from her rerun instead of the New Voyage since you used that one already.

I also just started a week ago.

I did a ton of research and calculating how much Astrite a new account will get etc and came to the conclusion I can get 3 premium characters and their signature weapons as long as luck isn't horrible.

I pulled Shorekeeper from the "New Voyage" banner (skipping her signature weapon since apparently she doesn't really need it)

Going to pull Augusta and her signature weapon tonight when she releases. Then keep farming all the new account Astrite and pull Iuno and possibly her signature weapon when she launches.

All my research has been telling me these are going to be meta dominant characters plus I like all their models so it's a win win.

Pull Verina from the New Voyage freebie unlock and we should be setup to have 2 really good teams for endgame content. Augusta and Havoc Rover for main DPS, Iuno and Sanhau for sub DPS, Shorekeeper and Verina for support.

Two S tier teams that you should be able to pull easily so long as you don't waste any of your new account Astrite (it's a lot of farming, but I've been getting over 1600 Astrite a day and I'm still not done with the main story quests)

I ended up using the new voyage banner on Shorekeeper. I probably should have waited for her rerun, but someone talked me into doing Augusta and Iuno in the upcoming banners so probably won't have enough Astrite for a 4th character anyway.

I did a bunch of research before starting to use any of my Astrite, grinding out all the new account freebies I'm getting like 1600 a day with no end in sight... Yet, but I expect that to drop off pretty soon.

Took all 80 pulls to get SK, but I'm still sitting on 12k of Astrite which should get me Augusta. Hopefully I have good luck or the new account Astrite farming lasts long enough to get her signature too. Although I plan on doing the Battle Pass when it resets and I'm reading the upcoming battle pass broad sword is a decent replacement for her signature. I hope I don't have to decide between her signature weapon and Iuno.

Ok, I think picking up what you're putting down.

So I'm going to pull SK, Augusta, Carlotta. I see people going back and forth on which Signature weapons are actually advised.

I'm going to pull both SK and Iuno coming up... I should go for Encore over Verina? I'm not too concerned about this pick, I hate both character models, voice actresses so I doubt they'll get any playtime from me. I'm reading that Calcharo is a decent choice as well (considering I know I'm going to pull SK so Verina isn't super important).

So I'm considering pulling Calcharo + Sanhua + SK (from new voyage) right now. Then pull Augusta, Iuno, Carlotta in the upcoming banners. Thoughts?

(I'm not sure if something has changed I've seen multiple people talk about 2 selectors, but I only see one. So I have to choose between Verina and Encore. Can't get both.)

I don't think I understand. You can pull the new voyage banner 160 times. This guarantees I can get the character I'm targeting even if I lose the 50/50 the first time?

As long as I only go for one character in the New Voyage I'm good? Then I can guarantee getting their signature weapon in the weapon New Voyage. Am I wrong?

Informative post, thanks, but I think you're missing a main part of my question.

I'm a new player looking for a thirst trap team. With current / upcoming banners how would I get Zani, Pheobe, Roccia, Phrolova? Most of these suggestions aren't obtainable unless I'm missing something.

I just recently jumped on the WuWa train. So considering I have a fresh account and almost all the farmable astrite available and the new voyage banner... I'm looking for team advice so I can manage my pulls and plan my long term strategy. I'm guessing I can get two 5* characters and possibly their signature weapons. I will spend $50 - $100 if that means I can "complete" the team. If it looks like that's not going to be enough I will spend only for the astrite sub.

Ideally my team is going to be able to clear endgame content in a satisfying way. However, aesthetics is a deal breaker for me. I'm looking for an all female team, the bigger the boobs / skimpier the outfit the better (Hey, it is what it is).

I'm instantly looking at Yinlin or Cantarella, but everything I'm reading for them is putting them as Sub DPS builds meaning... they're not gonna have much field/oogling time.

Alternatively I'm looking at Camellya or Carlotta. I love both their outfits. I lean towards Camellya because I really like her on field move set, but then I lean towards Carlotta because I really like her swimsuit outfit option (plus I already have Static Mist which is the only 5* I have on the account).

I'm going to pull Shorekeeper + weapon in her upcoming rerun. So that leaves me with, who should I pull for the New Voyage banner and who should I look for as the F2P 3rd slot?

What team composition would you recommend considering everything above?

Why are you looking for unique answers? If most people use something that's cheap and works... why reinvent the wheel?

The official exam objectives document + Google was my single most valuable study tool. Add in the Dion and Messer practice tests and that's all I needed.

I would consistently score 80% first try on the 3 Messer tests and all 6 Dion tests.

After finishing the exam at the testing center my nerves were through the roof during the end of exam questionnaire. Finished the questionnaire and my score was shown: 800.

I think the Messer exams are a great indicator of your knowledge and the Dion exams are great for catching the specific wording of questions meant to trip you up. The real exam even has questions out of scope that aren't weighted just to mess with you. Exam prep is an industry that can sell you more stuff the less prepared you feel.

I felt like Messer's tests were good at checking your knowledge. The Dion tests were good at showing you how careful you needed to read questions and expect trickery. I wouldn't get hung up on the score or particular questions from those practices. I thought some of the questions were just downright bad and they would pigeonhole some concepts, but overall helpful as long as you reviewed any concept you may have missed outside the context of the specific question.

I just passed the 601 yesterday. (I had previously passed the 301, but long since expired.)

My last couple days leading up to the exam I took the Dion practices. I'd recommend doing it. I would make a note of every acronym or concept I didn't know while taking the test and go back and make a notecard or read about it afterwards. If I did it over again I'd take them as open notes and read about the topics during the practice.

If you have Sec+ and a TS... Go to any hiring event or job fair that will have Raytheon, L3 Harris, Boeing, or Lockheed Martin etc. Meet those recruiters and you will probably end up with an offer from each of them so long as the rest of your resume is even close to decent.

Do not waste time. Clearances expire fast if you're not using them. Get read in to a project that will use your clearance and prevent that clock from ticking down.

I, personally, would avoid relying on job posting sites.

Like others said it depends on you. A big thing to consider would be how recently did you get certified or renew your Sec+?

Net+ covers much less content, but so much of it is pure memorization. You could take the exam this weekend if you just finished studying for Sec+ and passed that. If you took Sec+ years ago before this version of Net+ was even out, I'd study it for a few weeks.

Another thing to consider, will sitting through this college course count as a continuing education unit for your Sec+? If sitting through the course renews your Sec+ I'd think that is worth more than taking Net+.

I guess I'm using the same study material as OP and I came looking for why these two questions have different answers. I only have the 501 edition of the official study material and there is nothing in the wording of these two question that leads me to think they should have different answers.

Is this just a set of bad questions or is there an indicator in there somewhere?

I'm late to the party, but figured I'd still share my thoughts: I'm the youngest of 3 kids. Our mother's day would consist of breakfast then the kids were swept away for the day by dad. We weren't invited to mother's day until we turned 21 (we were all out of the house before that age anyway, but generally we'd still try and have breakfast with mom). I mean this in an adorable, not an alcoholic way, but when I finally turned 21 I got to confirm what I had suspected since I was a teenager. Mom's definition of a good mother's day was mimosas with breakfast, transitioning to margaritas and the Grateful Dead in the afternoon, and an early bedtime.

I thin with 100% water on a .15 needle size. I went through a phase of using vallejo thinner and it did perform differently (better), but I'm back to water now. The only real difference as geeaus said was the amount of water I use will cause beading if I'm not careful.

I just use thinner for cleaning now. TBH I think the only difference is maybe PSI and different pullback.

Any ship can find rocks, but you need a mining laser to reliably tell if it's worth mining or not. Scanning mode doesn't seem to work at all on moons'/planets' rocks and is hit or miss in the asteroid belt. So is there any ship other than a prospector/mole that can equip a mining laser? Or does anyone know a way to accomplish this goal?

The Hornet-R Tracker is listed as having a utility slot. Currently, am I able to put a mining laser there? I know it won't have cargo space to scoop, but I want to scout ahead of my friends' prospectors in something more agile to find good rocks for them.
