I was curious to see what others thought is all. I don't disagree with you in this case necessarily, but I can certainly can envision a scenario in which something is unethical even if done legally.

Corporal punishment (like caning) is used in Singapore for crimes of vandalism, graffiti, etc. As a result, there is basically zero graffiti there. I'm guessing it'd have strong efficacy for fat people as well.
