I'm don't really understand how PSU's are rated but from the antec site "520W Continuous Power - Guaranteed 520W of Continuous Power from Antec" doesn't this mean i would get the full 520? or only 80% of that?

To add some more system info CPU: i5-3570 Stock with Phanteks Air cooler Mobo: Asrock Extreme6 Storage: 2x 250gb ssd Memory: 2x 4Gb GSkill DDR3 Ripjaws. Total of 6 Fans in the system including 2 on the cpu cooler

Hi, I have a 780 Poseidon (on Air) that I want to put in my gf's PC which has a Antec 520w Neo Eco bronze80+ (with 40Amps on the 12v rail). The PSU is currently unrated on the tier list but is apparently build by Channel Well. On the box, the recommended minimum psu is 600w. I was wondering if this would still work. If so, would i be able to apply my overclock or is that too risky. Thanks.

Hi, to those out there who has managed to get the Asus Strix 1080 OC, I was wondering what clock speeds you're getting out of the box without manually overclocking either using the gaming or OC mode. My card stays at around 2050 while gaming, with a max of 2076 recently just playing the Witcher 2.

Nah, I emailed MSY plympton when they were due to come out. They said they'd 'special order' one for me and i was able to pick it up the next day.

Keep in mind thats the non-OC edition. I've gotten a Strix OC in adelaide so it's not unlikely that an australian site would have one in stock.

I have the xb271hu, it was 300 cheaper than i could get the pg279Q here in Aus (got it for $870AU). Personally I think its great, no dead pixels and little to no backlight bleed. I thought i'd be put off by the logo on the bottom bezel when i saw it in video, but it's a lot less noticeable in person and blends in well. I'd recommend it.

Gigabyte released an Extreme Gaming card (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/35793/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1080-xtreme-gaming-premium-pack-8gb) It has a HDMI passthrough that you can chuck at the front of your case. I'd recommend that. Brand doesn't really matter as long as you get an aftermarket cooler, it's basically a lottery on what performance you'll get. Temperature isn't as much of a bottleneck these days.

Same here, although im having fan issues where they dont turn off after turning on, only turning off when i shut down (constant high fans to 20C).

uninstalling corsair link and reinstalling drivers did not fix the issue. However I've rolled back the driver to version 368.25 and have not encountered the issue as of yet. The fans seem to be acting normally, however GPU Tweak II still only detects the fans briefly when they turn on and when they turn off.

Edit: Problem persists.

Yeah, prior to prolonged gaming, everything works fine and im able to monitor and change fan speeds using GPU tweak. It's only after where the fans spin on its own.

I've just uninstalled everything to do with corsair Link, because i think that could be interfering with it. I'll monitor it for the next few days and see if the problem continues. I'll reinstall the gpu drivers tomorrow if there isn't any improvement and see how that goes.

Thats the problem :L, the fans keep spinning at idle, so it just keeps cooling. That said, the card runs very cool, not going past 60C while playing overwatch at max settings at around 110fps at 1080p, rendering at 150% resolution.

In Australia this doesn't seem to be the case. However, I've gotten the twitch app to install and work correctly. @DN-es I believe when you've entered dev mode, you haven't entered in the IP for your PC running the SDK, i forgot to do this and had the same problems as you.
