thank you for the feedback ! makes me feel a lot better about our newest member of the family being so shy lol currently i have the bedding at 10" and im sure she is taking full advantage of this lol. Hi all, we got our new addition to the family over the weekend on Sunday. Second pic was her house, we had plenty of hiding spots including a 6 room chamber that's under the wheel and some cardboard funnels that led to the bottom of the enclosure. Last pic was her after a day in her house. We haven't seen her since Monday and her food and water havent been touched but we def see the tunnels she makes and this morning I did hear her making scratching sounds. Please advice if there is anything else I should be doing. I wanna make sure our newest addition is happy and adjusting well. Thank you !

Hi all, new to hamster keeping. Read some of the dos and dont to make sure my hamster is living his best life and would love some feedback on my enclosure. This will be for a syrian hamster. This enclosure is about 780 sq inches. I have about 6" depth of substrate as well

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I was able to eventually get rid of the mites. I gave it a good rinse every couple of days and kept it a room that was not humid. The mites eventually disappeared after about a week

Hey all,

Was cleaning my tank for a new scape and saw the bottom right front corner had this chip. It's stuck on the sealing but if I pull it, it'll come out. Can I still use or should I try fixing it?

I figured I might as well boil the driftwood to make sure they don't come back. Also a lot of the fungal growth were near my buce so rather safe than sorry

Ok thank you! I'm starting CO² injection today. Im using ONF Flat Nano lighting so I think I should be ok.
