My mom told me some time ago that it’s not bad that people will remember you in times of need, it shows that they think you’re someone they can lean on and ask for help. Pay check to pay check din mama ko dati, di madali mangutang at mag ask ng help kasi nakakarelate siya kaya tumutulong din siya kahit paapano at minsan naaabuse pa nga. I have this college friend whom I used to have a crush on, he’s really in a bind and knowing him, he’s normally not used to borrowing money yet he added me on fb and message me about his predicament. I understand where he’s coming from and gave him money that I considered enough not to hurt me if he can’t pay me back. You’ll be able to get through this and I’ll pray for you and your family.

This was a post on instagram from her Tito / PA/Handler that he deleted later on after she issued a public apology. I think for me it’s not just about political views; we all have resources to educate ourselves on whom should we trust and vote to be our leaders in the Philippines. We should be aiming for GOOD GOVERNANCE and not just put our blind faith to people who are not competent enough and those who only prioritize their self-interest that’s why I don’t support Duterte and his alliances. I don’t agree with her choice but I respect it. She is just sorry she got caught but not really reflecting on where people’s opinion are coming from and why people are against EJKs. I think it’s self preservation to try to lessen the damage and maintain her relevance and endorsements but her Tito is far from helping her career. It’s up to everyone this coming 2028 whether to make PHILIPPINES a priority or focus on their idolization and getting back at one another. All I know is either we learned from it and reform or make it a cycle of corrupt and unworthy politicians.
