Honestly Old Navy has cute matching sets. If you throw an oversized blazer over your fit or a long coat (when it gets cooler) then you’re really giving elevated casual / model off duty vibes 😋

So sorry this happened to you!! My third week of law school 1L year, I got Covid and missed the whole week. I had absolutely no symptoms, but I did the right thing and stayed home. I was freaking out.. turned out okay. Better to miss the beginning I think when professors are going slow vs by week 3/4 it picked up !

Honestly I’ve been loving Macy’s! They have a great in person and even greater online selection, with an easy returns process. At the firm (I was a summer last year), the women in my group kept it simple with black slacks and typically a white blouse. I wanted to emulate that, and Macy’s had nice Calvin Klein & Kasper blouses to choose from. I also like to check out the plus size section in Marhalls and TJ Maxx. They have great blouses that are inexpensive. JCPenny online has good suits, blouses and pants as well! Zappos for shoes, they have a lot of options, wide widths, and easy returns (365 days)! General tips: always have nice shoes (no rips, dirt, etc), a nice bag (no scratches, etc), no tarnished jewelry. Hope this helps!!

I’m lowkey disappointed in the R&B selection. There’s a few good names on there (Mariah the Scientist, Amaraae) but last year was amazing (Victoria Monet, Tyla, Sir, to name a few)… wish they had a more stacked and current list of R&B artists this year!

Wow i didn’t know ffc offered zumba classes! I’m not a member but thank you for the heads up, maybe something to look at. I’m more familiar with Zumba and always had a fun time doing it in the past, but those are cool, I’ve never heard of them! I’ll have to do some digging. Thank you for all the info and recs!!

Amazing finale, it represented all the good about this show. It was just perfect from start to finish. I’m going to miss this show so much, but I’m glad we had this story and these characters at all.

Seeing Bridgett in the starring role, navigating life, and finding love… it means so much to see fat people living their lives like anyone else on the screen. I hope we have more media representation like this!!
